1. Who we are
This policy explains how Mzancex AI ("we", "us") handles personal information when you visit mzancex-ai.com or use the Mzancex AI platform and app. If anything here is unclear, email support@mzancex-ai.com.
2. What information we collect
- Account details: name, email address, South African mobile number and password (stored hashed).
- Verification (KYC) documents: ID or passport and proof of address, required by law before live trading and withdrawals.
- Financial information: deposit and withdrawal records and the bank account in your name used for payouts.
- Usage data: trading settings, trade history, device type, browser and IP address, used for security and to improve the service.
- Cookies: small files that keep you signed in and remember your language choice. See section 6.
3. Why we use it
We use your information only for clear, specific purposes:
- To create and run your account and execute the trades you authorise
- To verify your identity and meet anti-money-laundering obligations (FICA)
- To process deposits and withdrawals
- To detect fraud, suspicious log-ins and abuse
- To send account alerts and, only if you opt in, product news
4. Who we share it with
We don't sell or rent personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate — such as payment processors, identity-verification partners and secure hosting providers — under contracts that require them to protect it, or when the law requires us to (for example, a lawful request from a regulator).
5. How we protect it
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest with 256-bit encryption. Access is limited to staff who need it for their job, and accounts are protected with two-factor authentication and new-device alerts. No system is perfectly secure, but we take this seriously and review our safeguards regularly.
6. Cookies and translation
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in. If you choose a language other than English in the header, we store that choice in a cookie and load Google Translate to translate the page; Google may then process data under its own privacy policy. English visitors don't load this script at all.
7. How long we keep it
We keep account and transaction records for as long as your account is open and for at least five years afterwards, as required by South African financial regulations. After that, data is deleted or anonymised.
8. Your rights under POPIA
You have the right to:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you
- Ask us to correct or delete inaccurate information
- Object to processing for direct marketing at any time
- Lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa
Send requests to support@mzancex-ai.com with the subject "Privacy request". We'll respond within 30 days.
9. Children
The platform is only for people aged 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect data from minors.
10. Changes to this policy
